Reservations

How much does parking cost?

Parking has a charge of €60 per day, with a minimum charge of 2 days.

Can I cancel a reservation?

Parking reservations cannot be cancelled; it is possible, by prior agreement, to request a voucher valid for one year in order to reschedule the service. The voucher request must be processed within 7 days of the confirmed booking time.
In the event of a no-show, the penalty is 100%.

What do I need to do to access my reserved parking?

Nothing. Once you have booked your parking and if you arrive at the booked time, all you need to do is come to the gate. Our staff will welcome you and help you with everything.

If your arrival time changes (due to delays, traffic, or other problems) simply notify our office letting them know your new estimated arrival time. If you have a reservation, you can postpone your arrival time at the car park until a 10 pm at the latest.

How do I change my arrival time?

You can change your arrival time confirmed at the time of booking by telling us by phone or email. You can even send a simple WhatsApp message, just make sure you get a confirmation of receipt from our staff.

Do I need to book?

Booking is highly recommended, especially at times of high demand and when Venice is busy. If you do not book, you may find there are no spaces available.

How do I change my arrival time if something unforeseen happens on the way?

A member of staff will answer our phone number +39 041 098 6830 during office hours. So this is the best number to advise of any urgent changes to your booking.

Please do let us know of any change to your arrival time. That way we can make sure your parking space and connecting motorboat service is ready for you.

Can I use my car during the booked time?

No, cars are not accessible during your stay.

How do I change the date or time of departure from the car park?

To change the time or even the day of departure (park-out) for your car simply notify our offices , a little in advance on +39 041 098 6830 (also via WhatsApp).

Park

Is the car park secure?

Yes, absolutely. During the day and often during some evening and night time slots, it is manned by our duty staff but it is always video monitored 24 hours a day by intelligent active and passive surveillance systems.

Is it possible to guarantee a covered parking space?

Space assignment is random and usually car coverage cannot be guaranteed. However, if you wish, you can request guaranteed vehicle coverage. The cost of this service is double that of the regular service and must be requested upon arrival.

Can I leave luggage in the car?

Of course, you can leave luggage in the car. If our in-house cleaning service has been booked or requested during your stay, our staff will carefully remove the luggage and repositioning after the cleaning is complete.

Can I access the car while it is parked?

No, you cannot count on being able to access your car during your stay. Similarly, you cannot take the car to leave Venice to return during the same reservation without prior arrangement.

Should I leave the car keys at the car park?

Car keys will be looked after by our staff who are the only authorized personnel for any vehicle movement between the two company locations.

What is the maximum vehicle size allowed?

Vehicle dimensions allowed at the Piazzale Roma car park are a maximum height of 2.10 m and width of 2.35 m.

Where is the car park located?

The car park is located in Piazzale Roma, the last point you can reach by car in the heart of Venice's historic center, facing the Grand Canal.

Access and opening hours

Where is the VenicePark car park located?

In Piazzale Roma, the last point you can reach by car next to the ACTV (public transport company) ticket office and in front of the famous bridge, Ponte della Costituzione, over the Grand Canal.

Distance from VenicePark to main points of interest:

  • ACTV public boat transport jetty - 20 meters
  • People Mover Shuttle in direction of Tronchetto terminal - 150 meters

What happens if access to Venice is restricted?

If you have a reservation, there is no change. Sometimes during busy periods in Venice, the Police may close access to Piazzale Roma by diverting traffic to Tronchetto Island. In rare, exceptional cases, the Police may divert traffic back to the mainland due to lack of space.

Keep your reservation email to hand and show it to the authorities so you can always access the car park.

What is the latest time I can arrive at your car park?

You can book your arrival at 9 pm. Office hours close at 7 pm for arrivals with no booking.

What are the VenicePark office hours?

9 am to 7 pm, every day of the year.

What time can I park my car?

Public parking hours are from 9 am to 6 pm. During these hours, the office is manned by our staff.

How do I access the car park?

To access the car park during daytime hours, and you have a reservation, all you need to do is come to the entrance gate. Our staff will be there waiting to welcoming you. If the office is not open, please ring the intercom to announce your arrival. Sometimes our operators are busy for a short time with another customer when you arrive.

What happens if there is an accident or traffic jam on my route and I arrive after office closing time?

If unforeseen events along the way delay your scheduled arrival time in Venice, please let our office staff know promptly and they will give you directions.

If the delay means you are a little later than the booked time, it is possible that you will still be on time.

For arrivals after the car park has actually closed, you can be remotely tele-assisted, via WhatsApp and the cameras. You will still be able to park, leave the keys in the special secure box and leave with your luggage at the car park safely.

 

Services

What is the Valet + Limo service?

The Valet + Limo service lets you arrive at our main site located on the mainland just before the bridge, Ponte della Libertà, that leads to Venice. On arrival, you will be greeted by our staff and transported by our NCC-licensed Mercedes vehicle to Piazzale Roma. Access is always permitted for taxis and NCC vehicles even if there is a lot of traffic.

This is the ideal solution if you have an unusual or large vehicle, or during busy periods in Venice.

How do I book a speedboat that will be waiting for me when I arrive in my car?

When you have booked your parking space, you can add an extra service such as a connecting speedboat for your arrival. Once you have completed your order, our staff will send you instructions on how to reach us before your arrival in Venice on WhatsApp to your mobile phone. You can used the same telephone contact to let us know of any changes or in an emergency.

How much does a connecting speedboat cost for my arrival or departure?

When your place your order, you can purchase a speedboat to get to your final destination once parked at Piazzale Roma. Our ground staff will help you with your luggage and escort you to the boarding point.

The cost is €90 including VAT. This fare is valid for up to 6 people with 6 pieces of luggage to or from the historic center of Venice, including the districts of Santa Croce, Cannaregio, San Polo, Dorsoduro and San Marco.

How do I request a return speedboat for my departure?

When you arrive, you can also add a return speedboat timed to fit in with your departure.

How do I reach the speedboat once I have parked?

Once parked, you can exit on the office side in the pedestrian area on the Grand Canal facing the bridge, Ponte di Calatrava. Our staff will escorted to the nearest available boarding pontoon.

If you also book a speedboat to transport you from your hotel, or residence, to the car park, our staff will be at the pontoon waiting to help you with your luggage and escort you to your car, which will be ready to leave.

What additional services other than parking can I book?

As well as parking at the Piazzale Roma terminal, you can reserve a connecting motorboat for your arrival or departure. Our staff will arrange for our own water taxi to be waiting for you once you have parked.

If you find you are not going to arrive at the booked time, don’t worry. Just let our staff know at +39 041 098 6830. You can message via WhatsApp too. The office will modify the motorboat location at no additional cost.
